Full-Time Position Overview JGF Built is seeking dependable and hardworking Utility Laborers to assist with underground utility and civil construction projects. This position will support crews performing storm drain, waterline, sewer, grading, and site development work. Candidates should be motivated, safety-conscious, and willing to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment. Responsibilities Assist crews with underground utility installation Perform trenching, shoveling, pipe bedding, backfill, and compaction work Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment Assist equipment operators and pipe layers during construction activities Maintain clean and organized job sites Follow directions from foremen and supervisors Use hand and power tools safely and effectively Help maintain traffic control and site safety measures Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety policies Perform general labor duties as needed on civil construction projects Qualifications Construction or utility experience required Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Reliable transportation to and from job sites Ability to work well in a team environment Valid driver's license preferred Preferred Experience Underground utility construction Pipe installation crews Excavation and grading support Heavy civil or roadway construction Trench safety awareness Benefits Competitive Pay (DOE) Opportunities for Advancement Overtime Opportunities Stable Year-Round Work Apply Today Join a growing team committed to quality work, safety, and professional development in civil construction.
