RESPONSIBILITIES

Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures Supervise and coordinate activities of foremen and their assigned craft workers Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedules, using knowledge of equipment capacities and assigned personnel Study and analyze schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for job completion Analyze and resolve work problems Maintain time records May make cost estimates for contracts; use logical step-by-step procedures in work; plan work and solve problems; make decisions based on measurable information; may operate machinery Provide leadership to other team members and apprentices by displaying resourcefulness, strong work habits, and creativity in problem solving based on information and judgment Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels Lead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and effectively manage performance All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or GED Minimum five (5) years of related experience Previous experience working with tools, equipment, and machinery Strong teamwork orientation; positive attitude and professional customer service skills; detail orientation; active listening skills and effective communication, including an openness to diverse input and feedback Ability to determine work method from alternatives; ability to work under broad assignments; works according to well-defined, established procedures and standard, detailed instructions; ability to work with minimum assistance and supervision Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements

•Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.
