In this energetic role, you will support skilled tradespeople by performing a variety of physical tasks on construction sites. Your hands-on work will help bring large-scale projects to life, from commercial buildings to renovation and restoration efforts. Responsibilities Assist with the installation of rebar, formwork, and concrete finishing to ensure structural integrity and quality standards are met Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently on-site Support carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, framing, metal stud framing, and roofing installations Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and handling heavy lifting tasks Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to assist tradespeople with accurate execution Mix and pour concrete using mixers and concrete pumping equipment; perform concrete finishing for smooth surfaces Support masonry work such as tile laying, stucco application, plastering, and restoration projects Assist with installation of flooring, caulking, drywall, and other interior finishes as needed Operate heavy machinery including forklifts or cranes when certified; support site safety protocols at all times Qualifications Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with construction estimating is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout the workday Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic masonry or carpentry techniques Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and site hazards Valid driver's license for commercial driving or ability to operate heavy equipment (where applicable) Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in various trades Join us in building something great!
