Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and material organization Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, pouring, and finishing Support the installation of rebar, formwork, drywall, flooring, and other structural components according to blueprints and schematics Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of work Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for masonry, stucco, roofing, and renovation projects Follow all safety protocols and workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site Collaborate with team members on various construction activities including framing, carpentry, masonry, and restoration efforts Qualifications Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of concrete forming, pouring, finishing, cutting, and pumping techniques Experience with rebar installation, metal stud framing, drywall installation, caulking, plastering, and flooring is a plus Comfortable operating power tools and heavy equipment safely Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and protocols Physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills This role is paid — offering an engaging opportunity for those eager to grow their career in the construction industry.
