Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! This energetic role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to large-scale commercial builds. As a Construction Laborer, you'll perform essential tasks that support skilled tradespeople, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality on every site. This paid position welcomes motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in construction while contributing to impactful projects. Your hands-on work will help shape communities and create lasting structures. Responsibilities Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including material staging and site cleanup Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to support various construction activities Prepare and install formwork for concrete pouring, including rebar installation and concrete forming Mix, pour, and finish concrete surfaces with precision, ensuring adherence to blueprint specifications and schematics Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to execute tasks accurately Perform masonry work, stucco application, roofing tasks, and other heavy lifting duties as needed Follow all safety protocols and workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site Requirements Prior experience working on construction projects or in related trades such as carpentry or masonry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated learners Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous for understanding project scopes Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of concrete cutting, finishing, pumping, and formwork construction techniques Experience with rebar installation, concrete pouring, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, flooring installation, restoration work, and heavy equipment operation is highly desirable Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions Commitment to adhering to safety regulations and proper use of hand tools and power tools Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in a fast-paced environment Embark on a rewarding career where your efforts directly contribute to building enduring structures!
