JOB SUMMARY / GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Performs general labor duties in support of utility and civil construction operations. Assists with the installation, maintenance, and repair of utility infrastructure.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Performs physical labor tasks including digging, trenching, shoveling, loading and unloading materials, setting structures, and site cleanup Assists with job site setup, maintenance, and breakdown Follows directions from the Foreman or Site Supervisor to support daily project activities Safely operates hand tools and equipment in accordance with company policies and OSHA standards Works effectively as part of a crew in fast-paced outdoor environments Maintains accurate timesheets and daily work records Drive to and from job sites Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual labor Complies with all safety rules, procedures, and regulations Performs other duties as assigned
MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years of age by the start date of employment OSHA 10‑Hour Certification required at time of hire or within 90 days thereafter. 3 years experience in utilities, telecommunications, civil construction, or related field (preferred) Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Commercial Driver License or willingness to obtain (preferred) Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and medical card evaluation. Knowledge of basic construction safety practices Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English related to job duties and safety requirements.

Outdoor construction work environment Exposure to varying weather conditions Physically demanding work including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and digging
