Job Description

Position Overview:
The Laborer/Painter plays a crucial role in supporting the crew by assisting with painting services and general labor tasks. This includes preparing surfaces, maintaining tools and equipment, and ensuring the job site remains clean and organized throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities:
Surface Preparation:
Clean, sand, and prepare surfaces for painting by filling holes, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal results.
Painting:
Apply paint, stains, or coatings to surfaces according to project specifications, using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment as needed.
Jobsite Setup:
Assist in setting up ladders, scaffolding, and protective materials like drop cloths and masking tape to ensure safety and protect surrounding areas.
Cleanup:
Ensure the job site is clean and organized at the end of each workday, including the proper disposal of materials and waste.
Equipment Maintenance:
Regularly inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
Safety Practices:
Adhere to all company safety protocols, wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established guidelines to minimize risks.
Assist Crew Leader:
Follow instructions from the Crew Leader, assist with material management, and perform additional duties as required to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications:
No prior experience required; painting or construction experience is a plus. Ability to follow directions and work effectively within a team environment. Physically capable of performing labor-intensive tasks such as lifting, standing for long periods, and climbing ladders. Eagerness to learn and develop new skills on the job. Basic knowledge of painting techniques and safety practices is preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Full-time Pay:
$17.00 - $25.00 per hour
