This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, assisting skilled tradespeople with various tasks that keep projects moving forward. As a Construction Laborer, you'll be instrumental in supporting the safe and efficient execution of construction activities, from site preparation to finishing touches. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while contributing to high-quality construction projects. Responsibilities Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as framing, formwork construction, and concrete finishing Support concrete pouring, mixing, cutting, and finishing activities using concrete mixers and pumping equipment Install rebar and metal stud framing according to blueprints and schematics Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of construction plans Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks such as masonry, roofing, plastering, stucco application, and restoration work Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocol adherence to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site Experience Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related trade environment is highly preferred Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings is advantageous Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, concrete formwork construction, and concrete pumping is a plus Hands-on experience with carpentry—including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and metal stud framing—is beneficial Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions Understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices for working on active sites Embark on a rewarding career where your hard work directly contributes to building structures that last!
