As a Construction Laborer, you'll engage in hands-on tasks that support the successful completion of residential, commercial, and renovation projects. Duties Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials using hand tools and power tools Perform heavy lifting of materials such as rebar, concrete forms, and masonry components to support various phases of construction Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and cutting equipment to facilitate concrete pouring, finishing, and formwork construction Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute concrete forming, metal stud framing, or masonry tasks Install rebar reinforcement, perform concrete cutting and finishing, and assist with plastering, stucco, or roofing projects as needed Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of heavy equipment Support carpentry activities such as trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and caulking to ensure precise installation according to project specifications Qualifications Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar labor-intensive environment is highly preferred Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous for understanding project scope and materials management Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics accurately Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and concrete pumping systems Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions Skills in masonry, flooring installation, restoration work, or roofing are a plus but not mandatory Embark on a rewarding career where your effort directly contributes to building durable structures while developing valuable skills across multiple trades.
