In this vital role, you will assist in a variety of construction activities, supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring safety and efficiency on-site. Your hands-on work will contribute directly to the successful completion of diverse projects, from commercial renovations to new builds. Duties Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, concrete pumps, and saws to perform tasks including concrete cutting, pouring, finishing, and formwork construction Support carpentry tasks such as framing, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and roof installation Prepare and install rebar for concrete reinforcement according to schematics and blueprint specifications Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute tasks accurately Mix and pour concrete for foundations, slabs, or other structures while adhering to safety protocols Assist with masonry work, stucco application, plastering, caulking, flooring installation, and restoration projects Follow all construction workplace safety regulations to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with safety protocol adherence Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required on construction sites Support the installation of heavy equipment or materials as needed for project completion Experience Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar laborer role is highly preferred Knowledge of mechanical systems and construction estimating is a plus Demonstrated ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and blueprint specifications accurately Hands-on experience with concrete forming, finishing, pouring, cutting, and pumping techniques Familiarity with masonry, stucco application, roofing procedures, and restoration work enhances your versatility Proficiency in operating hand tools and power tools safely in a construction environment Understanding of construction site safety regulations and the ability to implement safety measures effectively Experience working with heavy equipment operation such as forklifts or cranes is advantageous but not required Join us if you're eager to build your career in construction!
