Position:
Construction Laborer / Generator Installer About the Position We are looking for a dependable, hardworking Construction Laborer / Generator Installer to join our team. This position combines general construction work with the installation, setup, and maintenance of residential and commercial standby generators. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys hands-on work, has good mechanical aptitude, is comfortable using tools, and is willing to learn. Previous construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or generator experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person. Key Responsibilities Assist with the installation of residential and commercial standby generators. Assist with generator pad preparation, excavation, concrete work, trenching, and equipment placement. Assist with installation of generator wiring, conduit, transfer switches, and related equipment. Perform general construction labor and job-site preparation. Load, unload, transport, and organize tools, materials, and equipment. Operate hand tools and power tools safely. Assist electricians and technicians with generator installations and service work. Perform basic mechanical and electrical tasks under supervision. Read and follow installation instructions, plans, and job specifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Communicate professionally with customers and team members. Follow all company safety procedures and applicable building and electrical codes. Perform other construction and installation duties as assigned. Qualifications Construction, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, generator, or mechanical experience is preferred but not required. Basic understanding of electrical systems is a plus. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials and equipment. Ability to use basic hand and power tools. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
