Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and versatile General Construction Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be actively involved in a wide range of construction activities, supporting project completion from start to finish. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and willingness to learn will contribute significantly to the success of our projects. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials and tools. Perform general labor tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and cleaning work areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for tasks like framing, metal roofing, drywall installation.. Support skilled tradespeople by assisting with plumbing, electrical work, masonry, or carpentry as needed. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project requirements and ensure accurate execution. Conduct basic inspections of work sites to verify quality standards and safety compliance; report issues promptly. Help with the installation of fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinets, flooring, tile. Skills Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction environments. Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Knowledge of construction management principles and estimating processes is a plus. Familiarity with construction inspection procedures to ensure quality control. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when necessary. Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, masonry, roofing, and drywall installation. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and craftsmanship.
