We are committed to hiring the best and brightest in our industry. Danis is hiring Laborers for our Columbus region. As a Laborer, you'll play a key role in keeping the jobsite moving. You'll support skilled trades—including carpenters, cement masons, ironworkers, millwrights, and pipefitters—by handling a wide range of tasks that help projects stay on schedule and built right. This role is for someone who takes pride in quality work, works safely, shows up on time, and brings a strong work ethic every day.

Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities Assist with concrete work, including pouring forms and using proper vibration techniques Load, move, unload, and stage materials for craft workers Perform fine grading using hand tools as needed Communicate with equipment operators using proper hand signals Erect and dismantle scaffolding, shoring, and bracing Perform demolition work, strip forms, saw lumber, and install insulation Maintain a clean, organized work area and restock materials Help lift, position, and secure materials and work pieces during installation Perform general maintenance and cleaning tasks Complete other related tasks as directed by the Foreman or Superintendent Additional Expectations Support onboarding or training of new team members when needed Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements Contribute to a team-first, respectful jobsite environment Participate in jobsite meetings when requested Be flexible and ready to help where needed to keep the project moving Skills & Abilities Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing tasks Comfortable performing hands-on, repetitive work Familiar with basic construction tools, materials, and forming systems Understands and uses proper hand signals for cranes and equipment Communicates clearly with coworkers and supervisors Manages time well and works productively Works safely and is willing to learn and follow safety standards Reliable attendance and dependable transportation to report to job sites as scheduled
Qualifications:
Education & Experience High school diploma or GED preferred Prior construction or labor experience is helpful, but not required Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding, balance at heights, and work on uneven surfaces Requires standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling for extended periods Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly Vision must be adequate (with or without correction) to perform job duties safely
