We are looking for a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our growing team! This position involves a variety of hands-on construction tasks, including assisting with insulation and solar installations, preparing job sites, handling materials, and supporting our installation crews. We welcome applicants with experience in construction, roofing, electrical work, insulation, or other related trades. Responsibilities Assist with residential construction projects, including insulation, air sealing, ventilation, and solar installations. Assist with the installation of solar panels, racking systems, mounting equipment, and related materials. Support crew members with general construction tasks, material handling, and job-site preparation. Load, unload, organize, and transport tools, materials, and equipment. Assist with measuring, cutting, assembling, and securing construction materials. Perform basic electrical-related tasks as assigned, within the scope of training and qualifications. Safely operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other equipment. Assist lead installers with daily job-site operations and project completion. Help pull and organize inventory and prepare materials for upcoming projects. Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites and company vehicles. Follow all safety procedures, including fall protection and proper equipment use. Communicate professionally with customers and fellow crew members. Identify and communicate job-site concerns, equipment issues, or material shortages. Work collaboratively with the team to complete projects safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards. Participate in training and continuously develop construction skills, safety knowledge, and installation techniques. Take on additional responsibilities and opportunities for leadership as skills and experience grow. Requirements & Qualifications Previous construction experience required; experience in insulation, solar, roofing, electrical work, or other related trades is welcome. A valid driver's license with a good driving record is required. Reliable transportation to and from the designated meeting location. Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working on ladders, rooftops, and at heights. Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, and other confined or tight areas as needed. Familiarity with a variety of hand tools and power tools. Basic understanding of electrical wiring preferred. Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions. Strong oral and written communication skills. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn. Ability to listen, follow instructions, take initiative, and work effectively as part of a team. Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement. Preferred Qualifications Experience with residential solar installations. Experience with insulation, air sealing, ventilation, roofing, or electrical work. Experience operating work trucks or transporting tools and materials. OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain it. Fall protection and electrical safety training, or willingness to complete required training.
