Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of the construction process, supporting skilled trades and ensuring that projects progress smoothly and efficiently. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help drive successful project completion while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of construction, from site preparation to finishing touches. Responsibilities Assist with the setup, cleanup, and organization of construction sites to ensure safety and efficiency. Support skilled trades with tasks such as pipe work, road work, site development, residential exterior work, and masonry work. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks including cutting, drilling, and assembling materials. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to assist with project execution. Perform general labor duties such as hauling materials, mixing concrete, caulking, and surface preparation. Support heavy equipment operation under supervision and assist with site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards. Skills Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings. Familiarity with construction management processes such as estimating and inspection procedures preferred. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when trained; experience preferred but not required. Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites; ability to identify hazards proactively.
