Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Skilled Hardscape Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation, fabrication, and finishing of various hardscape elements such as pavers, retaining walls, patios, decks and swimming pools. Your expertise will help bring outdoor spaces to life with precision and craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that enhance landscapes and outdoor environments while developing your skills in construction and hardscape techniques. Responsibilities Assist with the layout, excavation, and preparation of sites for hardscape installations using hand tools and power tools Operate heavy equipment safely to move materials and prepare work areas efficiently Fabricate and install concrete forms, masonry units, and other hardscape components according to schematics and blueprints Perform concrete finishing, masonry work, and tile laying to achieve high-quality results Support the installation of features such as drainage systems, lighting fixtures, and decorative elements Follow safety protocols diligently while handling tools like saws, drills, caulking guns, and other construction equipment Read blueprints and schematics accurately to ensure precise project execution Assist with site inspections, quality control checks, and ensuring adherence to project specifications Qualifications Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on hardscape or masonry projects Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and construction safety standards Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, stucco application, plastering, roofing basics, and carpentry skills including trim carpentry and door hanging Experience with fabrication processes such as glass installation or cabinet installation is a plus Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety awareness Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately Join our team as a Skilled Hardscape Laborer to build beautiful outdoor spaces while advancing your construction expertise.
