Tree Service Laborer - TG-TreeCare (Kent, OH) Company overview TG-TreeCare is a professional tree service company based in Kent, Ohio, specializing in tree trimming, removals, stump grinding, and emergency storm work. Job summary We are looking for a reliable Tree Service Laborer to support our crew with tree removals, trimming, debris cleanup, and equipment handling. This is a full-time, year-round, outdoor position for someone who is physically fit, enjoys working with their hands, and wants to grow in the tree care industry. Responsibilities Assist with tree trimming, removals, and stump grinding on residential and commercial properties Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment (chainsaws, blowers, chippers, ropes, etc.) Load, haul, and unload brush, branches, logs, and other debris from job sites Help set up work zones and safety measures, including cones, signs, and traffic control when needed Follow directions from crew leaders and arborists and communicate clearly with team members Keep trucks, equipment, and job sites clean, organized, and safe Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow) Comfortable working at heights and using ladders or climbing gear (training provided) Experience in tree care, landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor is a plus, but not required Willingness to learn, follow safety protocols, and take direction Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities during busy seasons Medical, dental, and vision insurance after 90 days of employment Paid time off (PTO) available after 6 months of employment On-the-job training with opportunities to move into higher-paying roles (climber, equipment operator, crew leader) Positive, respectful work environment where hard work is recognized and rewarded Schedule Full-time Typical schedule: Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays during peak season How to apply Apply directly through Indeed with your resume or work history and a brief note about your relevant experience or why you'd be a good fit for this role.
