Job Description

We're looking for a dependable Hydro Laborer to support hydro excavation operations by assisting the equipment operator and ensuring job site tasks are completed safely and efficiently. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality service while maintaining strong safety and operational standards in the field. What You'll Bring Strong work ethic and reliability

  • adjusts to changing job site conditions, schedules, and priorities with a willingness to learn What You'll Do Assist hydro excavation operators with daily job site tasks and customer service needs Support setup and breakdown of equipment at various job sites Maintain awareness of surroundings and follow all safety protocols during excavation activities Identify and understand utility markings to help prevent damage and ensure safe digging practices Communicate effectively with customers, crew members, and supervisors on-site Perform general labor duties including handling tools, materials, and equipment Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the job site and equipment Use basic mechanical knowledge to assist with minor equipment checks and maintenance Measure and calculate basic dimensions using a tape measure and simple math Adapt to varying job site conditions, including weather, terrain, and operational needs Uphold company standards for safety, service quality, and professionalism at all times What You'll Need Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel as needed Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (8-12 hour shifts) on uneven terrain Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials up to 50 pounds regularly Capability to perform physically demanding tasks including bending, kneeling, climbing, and repetitive motion Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions and exposure to industrial environments, noise, and equipment Basic understanding of construction or job site environments and utility marking systems preferred Benefits and Perks Competitive pay and career growth opportunities Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with company match Time off and floating holidays Volunteer Time Off (VTO) to give back to your community Employee referral bonus program Wellness benefits that support your overall health and well-being Opportunities for training and professional development Supportive and collaborative team environment Stable company with long-term career opportunities Who Thrives Here Individuals who value meaningful work and enjoy being part of a supportive, team-oriented environment take initiative, communicate clearly, and continuously look for ways to improve processes and service, while understanding that great results come from collaboration, accountability, and a shared commitment to doing things the right way.
