Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Landscape Construction Technician to join our vibrant team! In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming outdoor spaces through skilled construction and installation work. Your expertise will help bring landscape visions to life, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from hardscape installations to planting and site restoration, all while honing your construction skills in a collaborative environment. Duties Assist in the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and decorative stonework using power tools and hand tools. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute landscape plans. Operate heavy equipment safely for excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks. Perform concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work to create durable landscape structures. Install plantings, irrigation systems, lighting fixtures, and other landscape components with precision. Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards throughout construction phases. Collaborate with project managers and team members on construction management tasks including estimating, scheduling, and site coordination. Experience Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on landscaping or related fields. Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., shovels, trowels), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), and heavy equipment operation. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to landscape construction projects. Knowledge of concrete finishing, masonry techniques (including brickwork and stucco), carpentry (including trim carpentry and door hanging), roofing basics, and glass or cabinet installation is highly desirable. Experience with construction inspection processes and construction estimating is a plus. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Additional skills such as plumbing, electrical experience, welding, restoration work, or tile laying will be considered advantageous.
