Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of building and renovating projects, assisting skilled tradespeople with various tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations on-site. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks such as moving materials, equipment, and supplies around the site Support carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople by handling hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and efficiently Help with concrete work including mixing, pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction Install rebar reinforcement and assist with concrete forming and placement according to blueprint specifications Follow all safety protocols and construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for everyone on-site Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to assist with project execution Qualifications Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related laborer role is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, concrete pumping equipment, and cutting tools Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not mandatory Strong understanding of safety regulations related to construction sites including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the workday Experience with rebar installation, concrete pouring, finishing techniques (such as plastering, drywall installation, caulking, stucco), and renovation work is highly desirable Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in carpentry, formwork construction, concrete cutting, concrete finishing, drywall installation, and other trade-specific tasks Join our team if you're eager to build your career in construction!
