Direct Hire Yard Laborer 1st shift
MANSFIELD, OH 44906
Job Description LaborMax is currently recruiting for Yard Laborer, at a warehouse located in Marion. Shift hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The Yard Laborer is responsible for assisting with the safe handling, inspection, cleaning, organization, loading, and unloading of scaffolding equipment in a distribution yard. This position plays a key role in maintaining an organized yard, preparing orders for customers, and ensuring all equipment meets company safety and quality standards.Essential Duties:
- Load/unload scaffolding materials.
- Sort, clean, inspect, and stage equipment.
- Report damaged equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized yard.
- Prepare customer orders.
- Assist with inventory.
- Operate forklifts (if certified/trained).
- Follow OSHA and company safety rules.
- Perform general labor tasks.
- Assist drivers and warehouse staff
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Work outdoors in various temperatures and weather.
- Dependable
- Warehouse/construction experience and forklift experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent lifting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working outdoors.
