Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Excavation Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in excavation and utility installation projects, ensuring the safe and efficient preparation of construction sites. Your hands-on skills and attention to detail will contribute to the successful completion of infrastructure projects, including sewer lines, water supply systems, stormwater management, and underground utilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in construction site work while adhering to strict safety standards. Duties Perform physical work hand-digging construction trenching, grading soil, and clearing dirt around foundations and for underground utilities including sanitary sewers, stormwater systems, and water supply lines. Assist with water, sewer, or electrical line installation and guiding machine operators. Follow blueprint specifications and construction plans to accurately execute trenching, pipe installation, and utility system layouts. Support pipe installation projects by aligning pipes accurately using laser guidance tools and ensuring proper connections. Requirements Prior experience, preferred but not required, working on construction sites with knowledge of excavation processes and heavy equipment operation. Strong commitment to safety practices with adherence to all safety regulations on the job site. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
