Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer, where your energy and skills will contribute to building high-quality structures and transforming spaces. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to commercial developments. As a vital team member, you'll assist with various construction tasks, operate tools and equipment, and ensure safety standards are upheld. Your proactive attitude and willingness to learn will help drive project success and foster a collaborative work environment. Duties Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to support various construction activities Perform heavy lifting of materials such as rebar, concrete forms, and building supplies to ensure smooth workflow Support concrete work by mixing, pouring, finishing, and pumping concrete as needed for foundations, slabs, or walkways Install rebar and metal studs according to schematics and blueprints to reinforce structures Carry out masonry tasks including stucco application, bricklaying, and tile laying for aesthetic and structural purposes Read blueprints and schematics to assist with framing, roofing, carpentry, and renovation projects Support finishing trades such as drywall trimming, caulking, plastering, flooring installation, and metal framing Operate heavy machinery like forklifts or cranes when required for material movement or site setup Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure construction environment at all times Requirements Prior experience working on construction sites with knowledge of general construction practices Mechanical knowledge of tools and equipment used in building projects Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings Experience with concrete forming, finishing, pumping or rebar installation is highly desirable Knowledge of masonry techniques such as stucco or brickwork is a plus Valid driver's license for commercial driving or heavy equipment operation preferred Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities Willingness to learn new skills in areas like roofing, restoration, or carpentry as needed Join us in building excellence!
