Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of bringing building projects to life! This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on diverse sites, from commercial renovations to new developments, utilizing your hands-on skills and enthusiasm for construction. As a Construction Laborer, you will assist skilled tradespeople, operate various tools and equipment, and contribute to safe, efficient project progress. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills and grow within the construction industry. Responsibilities Assist with the installation of rebar, framing, drywall, flooring, and other building components using hand tools and power tools. Operate heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and lifting machinery safely and effectively. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to support accurate project execution. Perform heavy lifting tasks and handle materials including concrete, masonry units, metal studs, and roofing materials. Support concrete forming, finishing, pouring, and stucco application to ensure high-quality results. Carry out demolition, renovation work, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, and masonry tasks as needed. Maintain a clean and organized job site by managing tools, disposing of debris responsibly, and adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential! Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with construction estimating is a plus. Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and machinery safely. Basic understanding of blueprint reading and schematics for various trades. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions. Knowledge of safety procedures related to roofing, framing, masonry, welding, tile laying, flooring installation, and restoration projects. Pay:
$22.35 - $26.91 per hour
