We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Laborer Construction to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be an essential contributor to various construction projects, supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring smooth progress across site activities. Your energetic approach and attention to safety will help us build quality structures efficiently and safely. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in industrial construction environments while contributing to impactful projects.RESPONSIBLITIES
Assist with site preparation, including erosion control measures to protect the environment and maintain site integrity. Support the installation and interpretation of construction plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of tasks. Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently. Operate power tools and basic equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and safe usage in accordance with safety regulations. Follow all workplace safety protocols, including implementation of OSHA safety standards, use of respiratory protection, climbing safety procedures, and adherence to heavy lifting guidelines. Conduct routine equipment repairs or notify maintenance teams for troubleshooting mechanical issues with construction machinery. Assist with erosion control efforts and other environmental protection measures on-site as directed by supervisors.QUALIFICATIONS
Prior industrial or construction experience is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA safety standards. Mechanical aptitude with basic understanding of equipment repair and power tools operation. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, climbing, manual handling, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Familiarity with respiratory protection protocols and general workplace safety practices. Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety compliance and task completion.
