In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various construction projects by performing physical tasks, operating tools and equipment, and assisting skilled tradespeople. Your energy, safety awareness, and willingness to learn will contribute to the successful completion of projects ranging from commercial renovations to new building developments. This position offers an engaging environment where teamwork and safety are prioritized, providing opportunities for growth within the construction industry. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including unloading materials and setting up work areas Operate hand tools and power tools such as drills, saws, concrete mixers, and cutting equipment to support construction activities Follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to interpret project specifications accurately Perform heavy lifting of materials like rebar, concrete forms, and building supplies while adhering to safety protocols Support concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction to ensure quality standards are met Install rebar and metal studs for framing and structural support in various projects Assist with masonry work, stucco application, roofing tasks, and restoration efforts as needed Follow all construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or concrete pumps when certified or trained Support carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, framing, drywall installation, and renovation work Qualifications Proven experience working on construction projects or in a related labor-intensive environment Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction tools and equipment operation Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate task execution Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus but not required Knowledge of concrete forming, pouring, finishing, cutting, and reinforcement installation techniques Understanding of construction safety regulations and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Skilled in operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining safety standards Strong work ethic with excellent teamwork skills and attention to detail Join us in building quality structures while developing your skills in a fast-paced construction environment!
