Description Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer, where your energy and dedication will help bring building projects to life! In this vital role, you will assist with a variety of tasks on construction sites, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality at every stage. Your hands-on work will support skilled tradespeople in creating durable structures, from commercial renovations to commercial developments in the local and surrounding areas. Responsibilities Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, including moving materials and tools
Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and fastening
Support concrete work by mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting concrete as per project specifications
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of construction plans from the direction of the foreman
Install rebar, formwork, metal studs, drywall, stucco, tile, and other building components according to safety protocols
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while maintaining proper safety procedures
Work effectively as part of a team to meet project schedules and deadlines
Ability and willingness to travel to certain jobsites, including occasional overnight stays
Follow all construction workplace safety regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a secure environment Qualifications Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related trade is preferred but not required; training can be provided
Knowledge of concrete forming, pouring, finishing, cutting, and pumping techniques
Experience with carpentry, drywall installation, plastering, caulking, stucco application, and tile laying is a plus
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment used in construction sites
Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and the importance of adhering to safety protocols
Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including heavy lifting, working on ladders and scaffolding and remain on your feet for extended periods of time
Reliable transportation and valid identification
Ability to work independently as well as with a crew
Strong work ethic with attention to detail and dependable attendance Compensation & Benefits $20-$25 per hour, based on trade experience and qualifications
