Butler Township, Adams County, PA Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week Butler Township, Adams County, is seeking a qualified, self-motivated, and experienced individual to serve as our next Public Works Laborer. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position and requires availability for emergency calls.
Position Summary:
This individual will be responsible for helping with the maintenance and repair of Township roadways and equipment, public sewer, maintenance of municipal buildings, and snow removal.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. Experience in public works, construction, or related field recommended. Knowledge of road construction/maintenance, stormwater systems, heavy equipment operation, and snow removal practices. Valid PA drivers license (Class A Preferred) (CDL Class B Required). Forklift license recommended. Heavy Equipment Operator License Recommended. Welding/Electrical/Carpentry certificates helpful. Strong organizational and communication skills.
