Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Construction Laborer to join our dynamic non-union construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of sewer, water and utility lines on construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision at every stage. Your expertise will help drive project success while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and contribute to impactful infrastructure development. Responsibilities Assembling, laying and connecting pipes, manholes and drainage structures for sewer, water and utility installations on construction projects Confined space entry with appropriate safety equipment provided Pour concrete inverts for concrete structures Safely operate power tools and some heavy machinery Conduct routine inspections of tools and machinery before and after use to ensure proper functioning and identify maintenance needs Follow safety protocols and construction site procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations Skills Some mechanical knowledge of construction machinery for troubleshooting and minor repairs Valid driver's license with reliable transportation to work Familiarity with construction site safety standards and protocols Ability to read technical manuals and interpret operational instructions clearly Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork on busy construction sites We're dedicated to fostering a safe environment while contributing to meaningful infrastructure projects. Although experience is preferred, we are willing to train.
