Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insulation Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various insulation materials across a range of construction projects. Your efforts will contribute to energy efficiency, soundproofing, and overall building performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while supporting the creation of safe, comfortable, and sustainable structures. Responsibilities Measure and cut insulation materials accurately using hand tools and power tools to ensure proper fit and coverage. Install insulation in walls, ceilings, floors, attics, and other designated areas following blueprints and schematics. Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot installation issues and adapt techniques as needed. Prepare surfaces by cleaning or removing old insulation or debris before installation. Assist with related tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, drywall finishing, or masonry work when required. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials safely. Qualifications Prior construction site experience with familiarity in framing, roofing, or drywall installation is preferred. Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., knives, tape measures) and power tools (e.g., saws, drills). Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights if necessary. $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
