Concrete Surface Preparation Technician / Laborer (Full-Time) We are a leading concrete preparation and coatings contractor specializing in shot blasting, diamond grinding, scarification, shaving, and epoxy flooring installations . We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Technicians / Laborers to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will assist with various tasks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, the ability to work collaboratively with others — and a willingness to travel for out-of-state projects.

Responsibilities:

Perform surface preparation tasks such as shot blasting, grinding, scarification, and shaving. Assist with epoxy flooring installations and coatings applications. Perform general labor tasks including loading and unloading materials. Drive a company truck and trailer to and from job sites. Assist skilled tradespeople in their duties as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols. Operate hand tools and power tools under supervision. Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks in a timely manner. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving processes. Assist with job site setup, cleanup, and material handling.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to safely drive a truck and trailer to local and out-of-state job sites. Ability to pass a background check and drug test (required for some contracted jobs). Willingness to travel for work (some out-of-state travel required). Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods. Familiarity with basic hand tools and safety equipment is a plus. Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential. Prior experience in surface preparation, coatings, epoxy flooring, or other labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required — we are willing to train the right candidate.
