Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! In this energetic role, you will support skilled tradespeople by performing essential tasks that keep projects moving forward efficiently and safely. Whether assisting with concrete work, framing, or site cleanup, your hands-on efforts will contribute directly to the successful completion of diverse construction projects. Responsibilities Assist with the installation of rebar, formwork, and concrete finishing to ensure structural integrity and quality standards are met Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively on construction sites Support carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, framing, metal stud framing, and renovation work Prepare and maintain construction sites by cleaning debris, organizing materials, and setting up scaffolding or safety barriers Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and assist with layout tasks Perform heavy lifting of materials such as concrete bags, lumber, or masonry blocks to facilitate smooth workflow Support masonry work including stucco, tile laying, and brickwork as needed for various projects Qualifications Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is highly preferred Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation Knowledge of concrete mixing, pumping, finishing techniques, and rebar installation Experience with roofing, plastering, caulking, flooring installation, metal stud framing, or masonry is a plus Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking Valid driver's license for commercial driving or operating heavy equipment is desirable Join us in building something great!
