Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Utility Worker/Construction professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting construction projects, operating heavy equipment, and performing essential utility tasks across various sites. Your hands-on approach, mechanical aptitude, and safety awareness will ensure smooth operations and successful project completion. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction and utility services while contributing to vital infrastructure projects. Duties Use hand tools and power tools for installation, maintenance, and repair tasks on construction sites. Assist with rigging operations to safely lift and move heavy materials and equipment using proper techniques. Support electrical work involving both low-voltage and high-voltage systems, including cabling and electrical connections. Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance on machinery. Follow all safety protocols and regulations, especially when working with high-voltage systems and heavy equipment. Collaborate with team members to complete site setup, cleanup, and organization efficiently. Assist with welding tasks as needed to join metal components and repair structures. Skilled in measuring, cutting, and operating construction tools and equipment, including saws, hammers, nail guns, and other hand and power tools. Experience with interior and exterior remodeling projects. Knowledge of drywall finishing, taping, mudding, sanding, and final finishing work. Ability to read measurements accurately and maintain quality workmanship throughout all phases of construction. Experience Prior construction site experience is highly preferred; familiarity with various construction activities is a plus. Mechanical aptitude combined with experience using hand tools and power tools in a construction environment is desirable. Experience working with electrical systems—particularly low voltage and high voltage—is beneficial. Ability to climb structures safely and work at heights as needed for inspections or maintenance tasks. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and electrical work is required. Join us in building a safer, more connected community! Pay:
