Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Welder Helper/Laborer and be a vital part of building high-quality metal structures and components. This energetic role offers the opportunity to develop your skills in welding, fabrication, and construction site operations while supporting experienced welders and fabricators. Duties Assist skilled welders with preparing materials and setting up welding equipment for MIG. Support fabrication activities by handling sheet metal, plasma cutting, and operating press brake machines. Help with rigging tasks, including lifting and positioning heavy components using cranes or forklifts, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Utilize hand tools and power tools for cutting, grinding, assembling, and finishing metal parts. Maintain a clean and organized work area by managing scrap materials and ensuring tools are properly stored after use. Qualifications Basic knowledge of MIG welding. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and schematics reading for fabrication tasks. Strong teamwork skills combined with basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations on-site. Join us in building something great!
