Job Summary:

Moving, sorting, stacking, & feeding material onto the conveyor belt and/or shredder. Perform & maintain general housekeeping.

Job Requirements:

Laborers must safely handle materials using powered mobile equipment as directed by plant management in accordance with established company policy. Inventory must be maintained according to standard operating procedures established by plant management. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Finished goods packaging may be required. Laborers must inspect the powered mobile equipment daily and submit the appropriate reports to plant management. Discrepancies must be reported immediately. Housekeeping tasks are a daily requirement. During maintenance periods, laborers must assist maintenance personnel as required. Qualifications and Education Requirements Prior Forklift experience Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment. (i.e., uniforms, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, hard hat, etc.) High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. This position requires outdoor work, which includes inclement weather. This position requires passing a pre-employment physical, drug test and background check.
