This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, from residential renovations to commercial developments. You'll perform a variety of hands-on tasks that keep projects moving forward efficiently and safely. Duties Assist in the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling components Mix and pour concrete accurately using concrete mixers and pumps, ensuring proper consistency and placement Install rebar and metal studs according to blueprint specifications to reinforce structures Build formwork for concrete pouring, ensuring proper alignment and stability based on detailed construction plans Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to follow precise specifications for tasks like tile laying, stucco application, or plastering Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering strictly to safety protocols at all times Requirements Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is highly preferred Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and best practices for hazard prevention Ability to operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, concrete cutting equipment, and concrete finishing tools Mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, or formwork machinery is a plus Capable of performing physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills for understanding blueprints and technical instructions This role offers a vibrant work environment where your contributions directly impact the success of each project.
