Gillmann Services is seeking general laborer / roofers in Pittsburgh PA Key Responsibilities Set up ladders, safety flags, and material hoists while ensuring roof-edge fall protection is fully secure. Rip off old flat membranes, insulation boards, and gravel ballast, throwing debris into dumpsters. Unload, carry, and stage heavy single-ply membrane rolls, insulation bundles, and tools across large rooftops. Sweep, scrape, and use power blowers to remove dirt from wood, metal, or concrete roof decks. Roll out membrane sheets, apply glues with rollers, and manage power cords for hot-air welders. Keep open roof areas free of tripping hazards and secure loose materials against strong winds. All other duties as appointed by the supervisor

Requirements:

Proven experience in roofing / general labor projects with a solid understanding of roofing systems and installation techniques Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and fabrication equipment Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Experience with construction site safety practices and heavy lifting procedures Familiarity with related trades such as carpentry (trim carpentry), masonry (stucco), plumbing, welding, tile laying, and restoration work is advantageous Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and project managers Applicants must pass a drug test and a background check If you are interested in this position pleas contact our office at one of the listed number below Office #(304
