Construction Laborer Description Are you tired of working out of town? Our crews are home every night! The Pipe Layer Laborer installs and directs pipes for construction projects, such as connecting buildings to water systems, underground drainage pipes, and sewers and water mains. Preparing the ground and digging trenches Assembling, connecting, and constructing pipe systems Aligning pipes and sealing joints with cement or glue Following blueprints and written instructions to ensure pipes are positioned and sloped correctly Cutting pipes to the required length using hand and power tools Removing old or broken piping systems Voluntary Overtime Saturday 1.5x pay Sunday 2x pay Requirements ability to read blueprints works well with a team able to lift up to 75lbs Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
