Construction Laborer Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Laborer to support our grain bin construction projects. The ideal candidate will assist with various on-site tasks, including carpentry, rebar installation, formwork construction, and operating construction equipment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. The Construction Laborer will play a vital role in ensuring the successful and timely completion of construction projects. Responsibilities Assist with carpentry tasks related to grain bin construction, including framing and structural support. Install rebar according to project specifications to reinforce concrete structures. Construct formwork for concrete pouring, ensuring proper alignment and stability. Operate equipment such as cranes and man lifts safely and efficiently to facilitate construction activities. Support concrete placement and finishing processes on-site. Perform welding tasks as needed for structural assembly or repairs. Handle various tools and machinery required for construction work while adhering to safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed at all times. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Experience Prior experience in construction, particularly in carpentry, rebar installation, or formwork is preferred. Experience operating construction equipment such as cranes, man lifts, or similar machinery is advantageous. Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and general construction practices. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions. Strong teamwork skills and a proactive attitude towards learning new skills on the job.
