Job Description
Summary We are seeking an Excavation Laborer to join our team, ability to operate excavation equipment is a plus! You will be an essential part of our construction team, reporting directly to the site supervisor. Your primary role will be to excavate areas in our construction sites, and ensure safety and efficiency on-site. Core skills in basic math and English will be vital for following instructions and accurately. Join our team to help grow our amazing resort! Who we are With over 3,500 acres, The Preserve Sporting Club & Resort is an outstanding property with luxury, five-star accommodations. Responsibilities Preparing sites for excavation, understanding soil types, take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed Digging trenches, and working with heavy machinery, specifically various excavating equipment, Implement appropriate safety procedures Collaborate effectively with construction teams Other duties as assigned Qualifications Prior experience with construction excavation Basic math skills for measurements and calculations Proficiency in English for effective communication on site Ability to follow safety protocols and instructions Experience with excavation equipment a plus Physical stamina and strength to perform labor-intensive tasks Teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other construction workers Good physical condition and endurance Starting at $20/hr and up - Pay based on experience.
