Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be an essential part of transforming blueprints into reality! This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to commercial developments. As a Construction Laborer, you'll bring your hands-on skills and enthusiasm to assist in building, repairing, and finishing structures while adhering to safety standards. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their construction expertise and contribute to high-quality craftsmanship. Duties Assist in interpreting construction plans and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of project specifications Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks such as moving materials, tools, and equipment around the site Operate hand tools, power tools, and concrete mixers safely and efficiently for various tasks including concrete pouring, cutting, and finishing Install rebar, formwork, and framing components according to technical drawings and safety protocols Support concrete work by pouring, finishing, cutting, pumping, and applying plaster or caulking as needed Set up and dismantle scaffolding, ladders, and other temporary structures required for construction activities Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for everyone on site Qualifications Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar labor-intensive environment is highly preferred Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and interpret blueprint specifications accurately Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, saws, and other construction equipment safely Knowledge of concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete cutting, pouring, finishing, and pumping techniques Experience with carpentry including framing, trim carpentry, flooring installation, tile laying, and renovation work Understanding of construction site safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and working on various heights or uneven surfaces Embark on a rewarding career where your skills build communities!
