Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and attentive Spotter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely guiding heavy equipment, trucks, and machinery on-site, ensuring the safety of workers, pedestrians, and property. Your primary focus will be preventing accidents, managing blind spots, and directing traffic in busy work areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct equipment operators using standard hand signals, two-way radios, and visual cues. Maintain constant visual contact with drivers and operators to navigate blind spots safely. Inspect work zones prior to movement to identify potential hazards, overhead obstacles, or ground hazards. Stop operations immediately if safety conditions are compromised or an unsafe act occurs. Assist with site traffic control and pedestrian safety around active machinery. Communicate effectively with operators, site supervisors, and team members.
Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in construction, traffic control, or working around heavy machinery is a plus. Strong knowledge of standard hand signals and safety protocols. Excellent spatial awareness, focus, and attention to detail. Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong verbal communication skills. Follow strict safety regulations including OSHA standards, respiratory protection protocols, and workplace safety procedures

$22.00 per hour
