This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, collaborate with skilled tradespeople, and develop hands-on experience in construction and landscape maintenance. Ideal candidates are motivated, reliable, and eager to learn new skills while contributing to the creation of functional and aesthetic fencing solutions that enhance property security and curb appeal. Duties Assist in the preparation of construction sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials. Measure and mark fencing layouts accurately according to project specifications. Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, levels, and post drivers to install fence posts, panels, and gates efficiently. Operate power tools including drills, grinders, and welding equipment to assemble fencing components securely. Perform heavy lifting tasks to move materials like wood panels, concrete posts, or metal fencing sections safely. Assist with concrete forming and finishing for fence posts or footings as needed. Support landscape maintenance activities by trimming vegetation around fencing areas or preparing ground surfaces for installation. Skills Proven experience in construction or carpentry with a focus on framing or masonry work is highly desirable. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and concrete finishing processes enhances your effectiveness on site. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and technique. Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety protocols and equipment handling. Understanding of landscape maintenance practices including hardscape installation and general site cleanup. Strong teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude and attention to detail ensure project success.
