Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! As a Construction Laborer, you will support skilled tradespeople, handle diverse materials, and contribute to the successful completion of building projects. Responsibilities Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment Perform heavy lifting of materials such as rebar, concrete forms, and framing components to support various phases of construction Operate hand tools and power tools to aid in tasks like carpentry, masonry, and finishing work Support concrete pouring, finishing, and pumping operations to create smooth surfaces and durable foundations Install rebar, metal studs, and framing components following schematics and blueprints accurately Aid in roofing, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, tile laying, and flooring installation to enhance building aesthetics and functionality Use heavy equipment responsibly for tasks such as site excavation or material transport under supervision Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and assist with renovation or restoration projects as needed Qualifications Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is highly preferred Mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity with construction estimating is a plus Ability to operate power tools, heavy equipment, and basic hand tools safely and effectively Knowledge of concrete forms, finishing techniques, masonry, welding, and metal stud framing is advantageous Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately to support diverse construction activities Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience preferred for site transport responsibilities Willingness to learn new skills such as concrete pumping or roofing techniques Embark on a rewarding journey in construction where your skills grow daily!
