Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Skilled Construction Laborer to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will be actively involved in a variety of construction projects, ensuring that work sites are safe, efficient, and aligned with project specifications . Your expertise will help bring complex construction plans to life while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects and develop your skills in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Candidate should have experience in operating, skid-steers, articulated trucks, and compactors. Duties Assist with interpreting and executing construction plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate project implementation Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, material transportation, and equipment setup to support various phases of construction Conduct erosion control measures to protect the environment and maintain site stability in accordance with project requirements at the direction of the supervisor/ foreman Operate power tools and equipment safely, performing routine maintenance or repairs as needed to ensure optimal functionality Follow strict safety regulations, including implementation of OSHA safety standards Assist with equipment repair and maintenance tasks to keep tools and machinery in top working condition Skills Knowledge in reading blueprints and construction plans for accurate task execution Knowledge of Horizontal Grading and Site Preparation. Knowledge of Storm Drainage, Pipe and Structure Installation. Familiarity with workplace safety regulations, including OSHA standards Ability to accurately follow detailed instructions precisely from Supervisor/ Foreman Experience with heavy lifting, manual handling, climbing ladders and working along open trenches safely Commercial construction experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with large-scale project environments Join our team if you're eager to build your career in a lively environment where safety, skill development, and impactful work come together!
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
