In this role, you will be working in support of the earthwork construction crew. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects while adhering to strict safety protocols and industry best practices. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to execute tasks accurately Implement erosion control measures to protect the environment and comply with regulatory requirements Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform necessary repairs or maintenance using power tools and manual handling techniques Follow all workplace safety regulations, including OSHA standards, respiratory protection protocols, climbing safety procedures, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Assist in setting up construction sites by managing manual handling tasks and heavy lifting activities safely Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow, adherence to project timelines, and compliance with all safety regulations Requirements Proven experience in industrial or large-scale construction environments with a focus on equipment operation Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and understanding construction plans Familiarity with erosion control practices and environmental protection measures Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations, including OSHA safety standards and respiratory protection requirements Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and climbing on equipment or structures Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of power tools and machinery Excellent communication skills to follow instructions clearly and work effectively within a team environment We value proactive individuals who are committed to delivering quality results on time while maintaining a safe work environment.
