This position is ideal for someone with construction or excavation experience who is eager to continue learning, work hard, and build a long term career in the utility industry. This role primarily supports natural gas system growth projects, including installing new gas services, supporting infrastructure expansion, and assisting with underground utility construction activities that help serve growing communities across West Texas. Crew members receive hands on training and may have opportunities to grow into skilled operator and crew leadership roles over time. Position Overview Our Utility Laborers assist with natural gas pipeline installation, new service installation, and underground utility construction activities. This position involves physical outdoor work supporting experienced operators and crew leads while learning the fundamentals of natural gas utility construction. This role is a strong opportunity for individuals with construction, excavation, or heavy outdoor labor experience who are interested in developing long term utility construction skills. Key Responsibilities Assist with installation of new gas services and natural gas system growth projects Assist with excavation, pipe installation, backfill, and restoration activities Use hand tools and assist operators with equipment and materials on job sites Assist with operating or supporting vacuum excavation equipment as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow all company safety procedures and job site safety standards Work closely with crew members and supervisors to complete daily tasks Assist with inspections, documentation, and compliance activities as required Participate in company provided training and development opportunities Qualifications Valid driver's license required Must meet company driving and vehicle insurance requirements, including a clean driving record Must be able to pull and back trailers safely Must reside in Amarillo, Texas or be willing to relocate to Amarillo at the applicant's own expense Construction and excavation experience strongly preferred Experience operating vac trucks, vacuum excavation equipment, skid steers, or similar construction equipment preferred, but willingness to learn is required Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and job site conditions Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality

Compensation and Benefits Base Pay:

$17 to $20 per hour depending on experience Company Vehicle Provided for qualified drivers meeting insurance requirements

Traveling Per Diem:

Per diem may be provided for overnight travel to other West Texas locations when applicable
