Job Description

Job Summary This job training will take place in Orange, TX. After training period is completed, the job will take place in Beaumont area. We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in various administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Office Assistant will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, making a positive impression while handling inquiries and providing exceptional customer service. Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation. A willingness to learn new and different things is highly recommended. This job is needing someone who can not only do office work but help our installers with various tasks on the jobsite. Will need to learn how to drive a flatbed truck with hauling trailers. Position is for full time and part part time positions. Duties Manage front desk operations, greeting visitors and answering inquiries professionally. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining organized records. Assist with filing, document management, and maintaining office supplies inventory. Provide customer support through effective communication and problem-solving skills. Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution. Collaborate with team members on various projects to enhance office productivity. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with company policies. Cleaning duties Will need to operate a forklift at any given time. Order materials, pick up supplies, and deliver supplies Will need to assist at jobsites building cabinets, installing various things like tile, countertops, flooring, etc.. Heavy lifting will be required Operating a Flatbed truck will be required Picking up orders and making deliveries will be required Assistance in fabrication will be required when needed Skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Bilingual abilities are advantageous for communicating with diverse clientele Previous office experience or clerical experience is preferred but not required Excellent computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications. Strong typing skills with attention to detail in data entry tasks. Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills to enhance client interactions. Time management skills to ensure deadlines are met efficiently. Background in construction is a plus Knowledge of cabinets and countertops is recommended but not required
