Bonus Potential Summary/Objective The Psych Program Therapist Provides patient's psychological counseling through group therapy and one on one sessions in numerous areas, while providing clinical supervision and/or consultation to unit staff. Essential Job Duties Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Within 48 hours of patient admission, conducts interviews and completes Psychosocial Assessments and communicates results with medical staff and physicians. Within 72 hours of patient admission, coordinates and completes Recovery Team Meetings. Leads Recovery Team members to ensure all parties contribute, meeting schedules are adhered to, and documentation is completed with the 72 hour requirement. Ensure case-load receives required therapies, activities, and recovery meetings. Monitor progress toward the patient's goals and adjust interventions accordingly. Conduct one-on-one, family and group therapies on the unit assigned with assigned patients. Coordinate daily schedules and provide coverage for Therapists that are not available. Communicates and interacts effectively with patients and their families based on sensitivity to the psychosocial needs of patients and implements measures to promote a safe and therapeutic environment for patients. Provide assessments, training, education and/or consultation to outside entities and other units as required Required Education and Experience Master's Degree in Social/Behavioral Science. 1-3 years of related experience. Required License/Certifications Professional License; LPC Associate, LMSW, LPC, or LCSW. De-escalation training within 90 days of hire CPR/BLS within 30 days of hire
