The role ensures that all debris, dust, and leftover materials are removed, and that the space meets health, safety, and occupancy standards

Key Duties and Responsibilities Debris Removal:

Clearing construction waste, leftover materials, and staging items from the site

Surface Cleaning:

Dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and cleaning floors, walls, windows, and baseboards

Equipment and Tool Removal:

Taking down and removing ladders, scaffolding, and temporary structures

Specialized Cleaning:

Using appropriate tools and products to clean hard-to-reach areas, remove stains, and eliminate heavy dust

Inspection:

Checking the site regularly to identify and address cleaning needs

Waste Disposal:

Properly disposing of trash and hazardous materials in compliance with local regulations

Final Polish:

Restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and performing a final cleanup before handover

Safety Compliance:

Following all safety protocols, using PPE, and reporting hazards. Physical and Environmental Requirements Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (often 50+ lbs) Work outdoors in various weather conditions Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb frequently Exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and heavy equipment Qualifications Previous construction or general labor experience preferred but not required Basic knowledge of hand and power tools and safety procedures Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow instructions Valid drivers license preferred for site access Age 18 years up due to hazardous work sites Work Environment Construction or post-construction sites with high physical demands and variable weather May require overtime or weekend work depending on project needs
